Walt Lenar thanked everyone for their hard work on getting the scores in to him on time. He reminded the coordinators to call the scores in on Saturday if there were games played on that day. Bob Dieterle reviewed the WAGS Financial Statement with the Membership. The annual tax returns were filed on time with the IRS. Treasury Bills are now at 2%. Last year at this time they were earning 5% to 6% interest.
Thanked everyone for a good season. Mike spoke about the Freedom Prep Day which will be held on June 22 at RFK Stadium. This is for high school girls ages 15-18. The activities kick off at 10:00am.
R & D Director:
Lula reminded the membership to inform their teams that all TSL's must sign the WAGS Game Report Card. All coaches must insist on player passes and rosters be checked prior to every game. If the referee will not check them, it is the responsibility of each team to insist they be checked. Lula stated that excessive red and/or yellow cards may result in a team not moving up to a higher division.
Robin reminded everyone of the deadlines. All fees and forms are due on Friday, June 28th except for division structure forms, which are due on June 21st and field forms, which are due July 26. The club rep web site was given. The user id is the club abbreviation. If the club reps need their password they are to contact Robin. Robin also reminded everyone to waive all signatures when sending their packets to the WAGS office. If the club rep has not requested a number for a new U-11 team, they need to do so as soon as possible. Fall 2002 U-12 wait list is open. The drawing will be held on July 1st at the WAGS office.
A link to the FIFA Addendums regarding sleeveless jerseys and other matters will be on the WAGS web site. WAGS does not have the ability to amend this FIFA Rule. A like will also be placed on the web site regarding the Laurel Hill Complex. She also thanked the Virginia Membership for informing and supporting the VYSA 32 field soccer complex.
Kathie stated that there has been some Registrar additions and changes. The changes were announced at the Mandatory Registration Meeting on June 8. Kathie reminded everyone that they are all volunteers and to intrude on them at all hours of the day and night. Anyone found harassing their Registrars or making unreasonable demands will have to use their club rep for the transactions.
Henry reiterated what Lula stated regarding red and yellow cards and accumulation of points will be taken into consideration for division structure. Any team with 20 or more current penalty points may be relegated to a lower division or may not be promoted to a higher division. Adele Dolansky Scholarship:

Mike Sybert spoke about each of the girls' accomplishments both on the soccer field and volunteerism. Mike also spoke of Adele Dolansky and her many years of volunteerism as a basis for awarding this scholarship.

Election of Officers:
Kathie Diapoulis announced the slate of Officers submitted by the Nominating Committee. The slate of Officers was approved as submitted. The following Officers will serve on the WAGS Board of Directors for the year 2002-2003

New Club Entry:
Rockville Soccer Club did not attend the meeting, therefore was denied entry into WAGS.
U-11 Division Structure:
Kathie opened a discussion as to whether the Board should seed the incoming U-11 teams for the Fall 2002 season. After a Q&A session, the membership agreed to continue placing teams randomly in color divisions. As in the Spring 2003 Season, the U-11 teams will be seeded.
