Kathie reminded everyone that the deadline for fees and entry forms is July 1st. She also mentioned the Mandatory Training Session will be held on July 15th. Virginia session for Virginia teams will be held at the Sheraton Premier from 10:00am - 2:00pm and the Maryland session for Maryland teams will be held at the Hilton Gaithersburg from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Every team MUST have a representative at the meeting or they will not receive the registration packets. Player passes, however, are now available through your Registrars.
Keith Wawrzyniak has agreed to step back in as WAGS Referee Coordinator. Kathie has provided Keith with the names of the Club Reps who signed up at the Referee Session at the Workshop. You will be receiving a call from him soon.
Beginning June 30th, all teams will be able to post, at no charge, team tryout ads on our website. WAGS will be paying for this service, so please have your teams take advantage of it. The ads will also appear in the Washington Soccer Net and Scorenet.
Three individuals have volunteered to be liaisons to Demosphere. They are Barna Juhasz (REST) Patty Freeman (CHAN), and Chuck Keefer (HERN). Any suggestions should go through them.
Walt Lenar thanked everyone for there hard work on getting the scores in to him on time.
Bob Dieterle reviewed the WAGS Financial Statement with the Membership. The year-end is June 30th. A report will be completed in August regarding the year-end statement and the audit.

R & D Director:
Wendell Domon thanked his committee members for all of their hard work during the season. He also stated that the red and yellow cards have declined this season.
Robin thanked everyone for their cooperation during the season. She also reviewed the information regarding the mail outs to the Club Reps and reminded them to download the Membership Forms regarding the Club Rep information. Robin noted the teams that were on the Sportsmanship Award list that shouldn't be due to cards received after the list went to print. WAGS is now accepting Wait List Applications for the U-12 (Fall) until September 1st. The drawing will be held sometime during the first week of September.
Adele Dolansky Scholarship:
The following girls are the recipients of the Adele Dolansky Scholarship:
Kathy Wainwright, Elise Fasick, Jessica Adams and Tamara El-Khoury.
Adele Dolansky presented the girls with the award.
New Club Presentation:
Burke Soccer Club submitted a New Club Entry Application. Pete England gave a brief statement on Burke Soccer Club regarding fields and the number of teams the Club wants to bring into WAGS.
After a discussion, the Membership voted not to accept Burke Soccer Club into the WAGS League. It was decided on a roll call vote. 36 for; 38 against; 6 abstentions
Election of Officers:
Kathie Diapoulis announced the slate of Officers submitted by the Nominating Committee. The slate of Officers was approved as submitted. The following Officers will serve on the WAGS Board of Directors for the year 2000-2001:

Kathie announced that there will be a coaches clinic on Thursday, June 24th at Eastern Loudoun Regional Library. Flyers were distributed to all Club Reps in attendance.
